I have always been a big fan of quotes. Song lyrics, famous sayings, books, movies, or any tidbit worth remembering, write it down and save it for a rainy day. Whether inspirational, emotional, or thought provoking, the right quote at the right time can elicit quite a response. Here are just a couple that have brought meaning to a part of my life. The best part about a good quote is when it can mean something deeper than just the words. That is the time that the words can become more, they become a feeling.
If you return me, to my home port,I will kiss you mother earth.Take me back now, take me back now,To the port of my birth. I’m getting closer to my home…
During your times of trial and suffering,
When you see only one set of footprints in the sand,
It was then that I carried you.
There’s something sexy about the rain
And of course, today’s picture. The ‘in’ and ‘out’ list for Machu Picchu Mountain, 500 vertical meters above the main city. Check out #40 and 41, Nick and I, the last two of the day to attempt the summit. I think it was actually so late in the day that the guards for the trek had left, but we decided we could make it. Did we? Of course!
