I knew at some point in time that an early morning photo opportunity would arise.  The other day, after a wake up call from my bladder that pulled me from my bed, I was quickly making my way back to those warm sheets.  As I passed the window, the glimpse of that sun peaking over the horizon beckoned me to hurry down to set up the camera for a shot.

A thick layer of snow coats the ground as the sun lights up the horizon, castings a blue tint on the early morning daybreak.
