Black and Orange

I need to get out and try some serious wildlife photography with this lens.  For the amount of reach it has, I should be able to get in pretty tight for some cool closeups.  I’ve got a family of Peregrine Falcon living out on the barn that I have a pretty cool idea of what I would ‘like’ to get a photo of, I just need to keep my eyes out.

Until then, landscapes have a new feeling at such a narrow angle, something that I’ve just recently become more interested in.   I really considered taking this photo into HDR, because I think it would have turned out really nice.  Something about the horizon line, the essence of the contrast maybe, decided that it should stay (for now) like you see here.
