The Windmill

As the sun sinks below the horizon, blue hour began, and the clouds in the sky gave the backdrop an awesome texture.  I scrambled to quickly set up for a couple different long exposure sets around where I was shooting that night, at a friends house.  I thought about doing this photo a couple different ways, either letting the spinning blades go blurry, or trying to freeze them in place.  I think the element of motion that came with the long exposure time was a good way to go, and the wind was consistent so it did not sway side to side at all during the three frames.
