We’re getting closer! I don’t have a tentative ‘switch’ date, but if I were a betting man, my guess would be in the next couple of weeks.
A View for Miles
Every once in a while, you end up in the right place at the right time. You do your best to try and be where you think you need to be, but the conditions aren’t always right, and the view doesn’t always work. There will always be the unplanned shots, but occasionally it’s nice when you have a vision for something, and it works out in your favor.
A sunset over NYC was definitely on the ‘to shoot’ list. As the day drew on, and I finished up some other sites, I was getting excited for the view of the sky that was happening. Then that old Murphy’s Law struck, and on my way to rush up to the top of the Rockefeller Center, I was stopped at the security gate. Long story short, knives don’t go to the top of the Rock, and mine was no exception. It landed softly in the bottom of a garbage can, and eventually I made it to the sky deck. The views were majestic, and the city glowed in the sunset. I suppose I could have planned that a little better, but you don’t remember everything.
