The Pink Falls on Half Dome

It seems while we were travelling in California that there were never enough hours in the day.  No matter what we did, we always seemed to pull up to the next site or hotel well into the night.  One thing that always turned out well for that scenario was that we had plenty of opportunity for catching sunsets.  Now, one thing that I’ve found to generally be true is that the higher your elevation, the way you thing about sunsets needs to change a bit.  Being at an altitude where you are reaching the clouds, changes the way a scene comes together.

I think this is a perfectly fitted quote for a picture like this.

Whoever created the world went to a lot of trouble.  It would be downright rude not to go out and see as much of it as possible.
