Colors in the Rafters

A lot of times I shoot for symmetry in my images.  I think it adds a little something to the feeling of a shot.  But, every once in a while, I like it when it’s just a little off.  I haven’t quite figured out why, but sometimes it works.  While wandering around Chicago one afternoon, this church was just letting service out, and believe you me,  I have a tough time passing by an empty church.  Their colors, details, stained glass, and architecture are all always so interesting, and this one didn’t fail to impress.  I really liked the features on the ceilings, so I wanted to focus on that for this shot.
