Wide Angle Shooting
Wow, what a difference that wide angle lens makes! I was out doing some shooting over the weekend, and it is so great to shoot with! I’m working on a couple of photos taken with it and will be sharing shortly!
On a warm spring day, the sun peeks thru the clouds and casts a warm glow across the horizon.
Quick Stop for Oysters
I have really liked going back and re-developing photos with new techniques. It’s a great exercise I feel to see how you have developed thru the process. Digital developing I’ve found to be as critical to your finished product as dark room developing. Although these two images started out the same, going thru a more detailed process (which you can see in full depth in my HDR Tutorial) has created a much cleaner, better to form in my opinion finished piece. This was such a neat little oyster bar, and the eclectic lady (the owner) who was vacuuming the windows while we ate just topped the cake.
Here’s the updated version.
And as it was developed previously.
This was one of my first attempts at HDR, but I still like the way it turned out, which is more than I can say for a lot of my early stuff. An overcast day in at Panama City Beach, Florida. We spent the day exploring, soaking in the sun (when it peaked thru those awesome looking clouds), and ended it with a delicious round of oysters.
Beaches and Sunsets
Goes together like, well whatever you like that goes together really well.
