Well right now I guess I’ll be somewhere between my layover in Japan and Chicago… One thing I’ll definitely miss over here are the beds. The hotels here have extremely firm mattresses. Seems to be pretty universal. I didn’t ever consider myself a firm mattress kind of guy, but I’m hooked…
Window of Light
Anyways, when you walk in to this room, the first thing you see are the sleek lines and subtle correlation between symmetry and free form. Top it off with a reflection on the glassy floor, and you’re having a good time even when you’re not in front of a Monet at the MOMA.
Around the City – Day 2
This rather interesting phenomenon happened a phew times while walking around the MOMA. I would find something interesting, stop and wait, take a few photos, then continue on my way. Once in a while, other people would catch a glimpse of what I was shooting, and maybe then find it interesting too, or maybe they thought it was something they were supposed to see. I’m not exactly sure, but it was funny enough for me to capture it here. First, what I was framing for my shot, a deep window, with a view to a far wall and some cool lighting, and the second shot, all the people who came around to find out what was going on thru that window!
