Glacier travel is a common factor in many mountain approaches, they can be quite docile, or give you grief and anxiety of their stability for hours while you’re making your way through. This particular glacier, on Mt Redoubt, felt fairly docile, and we ran about while the sun set behind the mountains. Positive of the night: the beautiful sunset over the glacier. Negative of the night, trying to make our way all the way back to camp in the dark after the beautiful sunset. ~originally shared via Instagram
